SCROLL DOWN TO SIGN UP FOR SIT DOWN AND WRITE 3
I had fully intended on joining ROW80 when it kicked off last week, but as usual, I am behind the times. I keep asking myself the question, "If writing a novel is what you want to do most in the world then why the hell aren't you doing it?" I still haven't come up with an answer. I just have to keep making some kind of an effort and maybe I'll hit my stride. I have had a lot of personal stuff going on. I'm going through a divorce currently. We separated in early December and my sons and I had to move in with my mom. It has been an experience and not always a pleasant one, moving back in with a parental unit. LOL! So, not exactly conducive to getting into a writing state of mind. But I shall soldier on. I'm joining in once again with ROW80 and I've signed up for Camp NaNoWriMo this month. My goal is 15,000 words by month's end. We shall see how it goes.
The Sit Down and Write 3 write-a-thon is for any writing you need to get done. If you're working on a novel, a novella, or even short stories. If you have a ton of reviews to write coming off of Dewey's 24 hour read-a-thon or my Spring into Horror Read-a-Thon. Any writing you need to get done...this is the time to really buckle down. I'm not going to be hosting any mini-challenges, but I will have check-in linkies posted every few days, if you are so inclined to share your progress. You can link to your reviews or your progress posts. You can also stop in and chat on Twitter and share your progress there. Our Twitter hashtag is #sitdownwrite Official dates and times: Wednesday, May 1 at 12:01am CST through Tuesday, May 14 at 11:59pm CST (adjust times according to your time zone).

moderation fine by me - better than a box load of spam:) trying times for you - but even thinking about wip is progress and if you can write words too - bonus - good luck and all the best for coming week:)
ReplyDeleteI can only speak for me, but writing regularly stems from forming a habit. Once I'm in the habit, writing daily becomes a normal pattern. Of course, the opposite is true. I skip too many days and the writing habit is broken. Then, I have to develop the habit again.
ReplyDeleteok, I totally missed this one but I'd like to make it for the next one. Let me know if you have one planned so I can add it to my events calendar on my blog. I've got a few of your events listed :)
