I had intended to post this yesterday, but somehow June got away from me. The next thing I knew, July 1st was upon me and I had loads to do!
I'm kicking off with my declaration that I did sign up for Camp NaNoWriMo. How about you? Did you know? They have a handy knowledge base for Camp NaNo and this is one of the questions...
How do I determine my word count for my Camp NaNoWriMo non-novel project?
This part of the answer was of interest to me: For editing and research: One hour of active editing equals 1,000 words.
...because this is what I will be doing for at least part of July. I hope to begin writing the actual book towards the end of the month. We shall see. I'm thrilled that Camp NaNo is so flexible!
I've set up a private camp so if anyone is participating and would like an invite, leave me your NaNo name in the comments.
I've just enrolled in Camp NaNo. Ice_Dragoness . Will be first time writing since late Jan. 2013. Will be writing sequel to 2012 NaNo novel. Made a pact with a new FB friend today: if she writes, I'll write.
ReplyDeleteI tried to invite you to my cabin, but it's saying you haven't created a project yet. As soon as you do that, I'll send the invite. :)
DeleteThat's awesome that you wrote a NaNo novel in 2012. Wishing us both good luck and perseverance...and to your FB friend as well. <3
I set up my project info today. Ice_Dragoness. I'm going to edit & revise Brightmoor Asylum, so I can do the sequel, Ironwood Asylum, for NaNo. Actually I did NaNo annually 2006-2012, and completed a novel every time except 2006. I've written several others, all unedited and unpublished.:)
ReplyDeleteI'm joining in and finally got my goals posted this evening: http://www.tiftalksbooks.com/2016/07/a-slew-of-july-events-sit-down-write.html
